Location: Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, Red Spring (Calico Basin) and Campground.
Volunteer Work Type: Fence Sealing
Join the Bureau of Land Management, Friends of Red Rock Canyon and Southern Nevada Conservancy and assist with fence sealing and trash cleanup. The work will involve hiking, standing for long periods, bending, lifting, reaching and carrying heavy or awkward objects up to 50 pounds.
Please plan ahead and dress appropriately for the weather conditions and work to be completed. We recommend a long sleeve shirt, long pants and boots or tennis shoes–please no open toe shoes. Lunch will be served and water, snacks, gloves, goggles and tools will be provided.
Please do not bring your pets to this volunteer event.
Suggested Clothing: Closed-toe shoes, Long pants, Long-sleeve shirt
